I wish so bad we could clinch it in front of Wegner.

It will never cease to amuse me how many times opposing managers and fans have come away thinking they "dominated the game" after they lose to Chelsea.

United had what, 1 shot on target the entire game? How that is DOMINATING I'll never know.

From like 30 yards out from a defender.

And apparently LvG called it their best performance of the season. Yikes

What are some thoughts on who we go after this summer? Should have plenty of cash to spend and we have some needs at ST, creativity/depth up the middle and maybe RB who can replace Ivon in two years.

Not sure how he can remotely say that. They haven't dominated anyone. shite, when we lost to them Arsenal had nine shots on goal and they had one. Of course it went in.

Match next Saturday is going to be a good one.

Pretty much what I want. A 3rd striker who is better than Drogba and young. I big pimpin central attacking mid to replace Oscar (this is our biggest need and should be our big money buy), and another fullback to spell Ivan since I hope Jose uses a little more squad rotation next year.

As for who those guys may be I have no idea.

Pogba? Is he an "attacking" mid?

Could we sign Benteke for ST? His run at Aston Villa has been long enough. If they are relegated then maybe he looks to move.

Patrick Bamford just balled out and could be a decent backup (and he is young and from the academy).

I'll start searching to see who else could be a good option...

If we bring in Benteke then we should bring in Delph too. On another note, I thought Drogba looked good today. I believe Mo may suggest that Hazard find the final pass to Did on some superb runs. If they can jell with Did knocking it back to Hazard and receiving the pass in space, it could be a very nice combo. It looked as though Drogba was trying to find Hazard in space with a flick. Those two clicking could be scary. Drogba, while clearly not what he once was, has been a handy insurance policy. Oscar played better than his recent form, but I would still prefer Willian. Matic has been huge. Cesc played very well until he tired. Ramires, while not my favorite, played well in reserve. In spite of limited possession, Jose clearly had his team execute his match plan well. Three points earned.

I think he's too good to be the #2 guy and he's not replacing Costa though I wouldn't mind him being given the chance.

I'd love to see one of those young forwards be able to be that 3rd guy but history shows it's not likely.

Pogba isn't the out and out attacking central mid I want but he's too good not to get if we have the chance. We could move Cesc further forward maybe to play the #10 with Pogba being able to cover behind but good enough going forward to support the attack as well.

This might be my FIFA talking but how about De Sciglio or Aurier?

ETA: Scratch that. Don't we own the rights to Wallace at Vitesse? That seems to be the heir apparent.

Yea but I have no idea how good he is and, again, the list of guys I can think of that have come through the academy or come back from loan spells and contributed to the first team is very short so I'm always skeptical. Would love for it to start happening more often though.
