It's a problem inherent to 4-3-3. 4-4-2 is such an easily organized shape, and 4-2-3-1 typically morphs into a similar two banks of four set up when defending. It's a key to why we were so good defensively last year.

COYG!

It's Boxing Day, and we need the 3 points.

Gibbs lucky to not have conceded a penalty right there.

We have another game in two days and Arsene still won't rotate players and won't sub until the 80+ minute. Ridiculous. Glad Rosicky got a run out and glad we got the points but with Giroud out the next three games we really needed to give Alexis and Danny some rest. We are one more injury away from being royally fricked.

What could be his reasoning for this? Down a man and defending like crazy, the squad looked exhausted out there. I was screaming at the tv for Arsene to sub, and yet nothing until after 80+ minutes. Then we only used two substitutions at that.

Next two matches are against Nos. 4 and 5 in the table. Two wins and we're back in the top four, despite all the frickery of this season. That's a big ask though, and Giroud won't be available for either.

Arsene brings on Chambers and throws him against Hoilett. Is this man retarded? Still has learned no lessons from Swansea.

It sucks that we really don't have a choice at this point. No Sanchez today and no chance for the three points.

frick you.. Giroud. So fricking dumb.

Overplaying players. What's new. Glad we snuck out with the points. Pk was bs, but then so was the Gibbs no call, so it evens out.

Upton Park is going to be difficult. Seems like Fat Sam was thinking ahead and Arsene wasn't. Hunted vs the Hunter mentality, I guess.

Just when this team was finally starting to find a rhythm, Giroud goes and loses his mind. So dumb especially with a couple of tough fixtures coming up.

At least Rosicky got to play. Been wondering why he's been wasting away on the bench.

West Ham and Southampton ... not going to be easy, but doable.

All I want for a late Christmas present is six points ...
