Ramsey was brilliant last year because he was a) defending his arse off and b) making runs into space.
He's now got an anchor behind him weighing him down and no space to run into.
Here's the thing with tactics. You don't really grow into them, in my opinion. You should put your players where they can excel and build the system around that. The 4-2-3-1 does that for all of our players. Trying to shoehorn Wilshere and Ramsey into the team without trusting them to hold the midfield themselves is hurting everyone else. Wenger is being beyond stubborn. The sooner he drops this 4-1-4-1 fascination the sooner we get back into some semblance of form. I can't believe he hasn't realized that considering our only two good performances (Villa and Gala) were in the 4-2-3-1.
Frustrating as any team I've ever followed. Not even really looking forward to tomorrow. I am, but with real caution.

Shhh.. Chelsea and Man City scouts read this board.

That kid was so babyfaced I was amazed that he was even that old. He's a really good player already.

Is he Belgian? Amazing the talent they produce.

Think so. They've turned into a factory.

De Bruyne is another baby faced Belgian and he has been around forever. He is playing great for Wolfsburg.

I hate Arsene. How the frick do you leave Gibbs on 15 minutes after he starts limping? It has become obvious that Arsene is the reason for so much of our struggles, from depth to fitness to tactics. He is holding us back, and it is time to move on.

I don't know why I keep getting excited to wake up to watch Arsenal on the weekends. They have really become a boring team to watch. Thank goodness we played Sunderland today.

Thank goodness for Alexis ...
I hope he doesn't get disenchanted.
He came here to be an important cog in a championship machine ... not the overworked horse on a team struggling to finish fourth, much like Ozil last season.

I enjoyed him playing a bit of a #10 role today.
Santi really needs to find a goal soon because he blew some extremely good chances today.
Ox has really been struggling the last few games. He just seems to be confused what to do at times in attack.

Santi has a future as an NFL field goal kicker based upon yesterday's performance.

we played a 4231 yesterday, though with an out of form santi, alexis, ox, and welbeck as the attacking players, there was no one to really dictate our attacking play. wasn't really surprised we struggled with attacking fluency. the only real hope of a arteta-flamini axis is in big matches where we play more like napoli from a couple years ago with a front 4 of speedy attackers. against lesser teams where we will dominate possession, we really need ozil. would also help if sanchez passed the ball more quickly on counters.
also, when are we going to start lambasting ox? he's been largely awful this year. it was set up to be his breakout year but he's really struggled and is about to be pushed out of the XI by Walcott and Gnabry (maybe even Campbell) deserves some chances over him as well.

I won't lambast him, but his first touch is just so poor sometimes.

Do we ever, at the number 10 role only.

Still should have bought Cesc.

He just seems get confused on what to do once he gets near the box.

It amazes me that we didn't buy him back. We basically gave Chelsea the title.
