What's the best brand of paint for kitchen cabinets? Looking for ease of use to get a nice finish and whether oil or latex is best? I have a decent amount of experience with painting around the house but wasn't sure on the cabinets. Thanks

I refinished mine last year. Took doors off, wiped everything down with thinner, light sand, more thinner, oil based primer, latex color coat, and new hardware. Durable and looks good, but not a quick project.

Look up General Finishes Milk Paint. It the best to go on pretty easily and is a very durable finish.

Cabinet Coat

I've used this in my bathrooms with better results than the pros did with oil based in my kitchen.

Did this last year and it's a process. Results were ok but the finish did not hold up very well. Scratched easily.

I just repainted my kitchen using Behr Premium Plus Ultra paint. So far it's held up really well. Put on 2 coats.

I hate to paint. And I mean I'd rather get beat with a stick. Just buy new cabinets.
