McNair was shot and killed by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, in a murder-suicide on July 4, 2009. McNair -- just two years removed from an NFL field -- was 36 years old.

McNair was a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback who played for the Houston Oilers, Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. An imposing figure that could make plays with his arms and legs, McNair was a prototype for QBs that followed. McNair is one of the few quarterbacks in memory who could inspire fear in a safety when he lowered his shoulder.

Here is the TD Thread from then

Really bothered me when I heard about it. It's stupid things like this happen.

I was driving on I-49 toward shreveport. Stopped at that french market express to gas and take a wiz and it was on the tv in there. Funny how you remember stuff like that and where you were.

That's one of those stories that will always make me shake my head. Terrible way for a married man with a great reputation to go, on a holiday no less. Will always feel bad for his family for the legacy he left.

First word that comes to mind when I think of McNair...

Warrior.

Dude left it all on the field. Sad what happened.

A 20 year old says it all. On another board, I would post, only one problem with dating a 20 year old again, have to do it two at at a time so she would have someone to talk to.
