Just wondering why someone would not wear a seat belt.

I feel funny not wearing one, it just feels strange.

I was in a bad wreck and the paramedic said if I had been wearing one I would have died with everyone else in the car that was wearing one

I don't. It's just a terrible habit. It doesn't even cross my mind when I get in a vehicle.

It just seems like the dumbest thing in the world to NOT wear one, IMO.

I have a friend who doesn't wear one and he is also one of the most reckless drivers I've ever been with. He is going to fricking kill himself someday.

I always wear one at all times when the vehicle is in motion. It's like secondhand to me.

It saves lives.

I hope everyone realizes this is completely anecdotal and should not be offered as evidence against seat belts and should not be recommended as good advice.

Is there a specific type of accident that people can go "yeah, a seatbelt is no good there"? I know that stuff happens, but that would never be enough for me to decide on never wearing them.

The car barreled rolled a few times and basically blew up. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and fell out after rolling. Everyone else was buckled in and was burned alive
