Kidnapped Israeli teens found dead in West Bank

The Israeli army has identified the remains of three teenaged Yeshiva students who were reportedly kidnapped by Hamas. One of the three is from Brooklyn, NY, and has dual US-Israeli citizenship.
Somehow, I doubt we'll be seeing a bunch of sympathy for these boys and their families but, instead, a bunch of vitrol aimed at the "Israeli occupiers", etc.

Fwiw, Hannity talked about this a lot last night. He had #BringBackOurBoys or something like that.
One was American. They were interviewing the parents. Prayers sent to the families.

The sick fricking pathology of "Palestinians" justifies killing any Israeli, even children.
These are people who build memorials celebrating the Sbarro bombing which killed many Israeli civilians.
The restraint by Israel in not wiping these scumbags off the face of the Earth is admirable.

I have plenty of sympathy for these kids. I am sure they had a horrible terrifying experience before they lost their lives.
I also feel for the victims of Mexican drug cartel violence, many of whom are Americans. Mexico has a kidnap rate unmatched in the world, and several dozen cases involving American tourists are on the books right now. Most of these cases will end when the bodies are found mutilated or simply be closed when no proof of life is obtained.

Mexico has a violent crime and terrorism rate the is higher than every single middle eastern country, including Iraq, Israel and all of North Africa. It is among the highest in the world, 5 times higher than Somalia (everyone's favorite punching bag). From 2006-2014, more than 300 Americans were murdered in Mexico, many of them were targeted killings and some were federal agents. Often these murders are botched kidnappings or executions.
So, in response to your "sympathy" comment:
Israel is not even in the top 25 (maybe 50) countries in the world when it comes to violence and terrorism. A citizen or traveler to Israel or Palestine has a significantly lower statistical chance of encountering violence than that same traveler in Mexico or South Africa. So no, the story of Israeli teens being kidnapped and killed, while tragic and infuriating, doesn't resonate more strongly with me than what goes on in our neighboring country on a daily basis.
