They have a lot of beers on tap and it's a quick streetcar ride from where I'm staying in August. I'm thinking about trying it out, but if I should skip it, someone let me know.

Been once. Had a great tap selection and the food was pretty good and priced pretty well. I got the rabbit pot pie. Solid spot where locals can go in the Quarter and not pay a tourist tax.

It's not bad for the quarter as far as beer is concerned, but I have only been there because of that. If you have to travel to a beer bar in town, might as well go to Avenue. I would not travel to Ole Saint.

Haven't been, but that tap selection is pretty mediocre. If you're from out of town it's probably solid. But if you're local and like beer you're going to be disappointed. There's one beer on that list that I'd call really good. The rest range from good to shite.

Which one? I thought NOLA was good.

Sam Adams Seasonal (Cold Snap)

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale
Stone IPA

From that list Endeavour is the best in my opinion. There are other solid options. Abita Macchiato is good. Brooklyn BCS. I personally think Hopspitality is good. 1554. 7th Street Wheat. NOLA Brown. Envie. Arrogant Bastard. Stone IPA.

But Endeavour is gonna be like a 9 out of 10 if it's fresh. But the rest I named are gonna range from like a 5 to a 7, assuming decimal points, at least on my scale. They are absolutely solid, and I think NOLA is really solid in general. But when you start talking about greatness, it's not quite there yet. It's a solid tap selection for the area of town it's in. One of the best, in fact. But I'd honestly never go there to drink beer when I can go to Avenue Pub and drink better beer and beer that I've never had before.

But if you're from out of town and want to sample local shite, that's a damn good list.

Don't listen to Yezzy, he's a Cowboys fan. If you have to be in the FQ and want to drink LA beers there aren't much better options.

That's as good of a selection as you're gonna find in the Quarter.
