I wasn't all that impressed. Plus, $27 for 3 scallops? Really?

I went once about two years ago, I guess, and haven't been back. I don't remember it being bad, but I obviously have not felt the need to return.

This. I went twice and enjoyed it, but I feel cramped in there. I don't like the atmosphere.

I thought it was good, not great. The pork chop was too salty.

$27 for 3 scallops is nuts.

Go to spilling during happy hour and get 2 scallops, a grilled shrimp, and corn marque choux for $6.

Went once when they first opened a few years ago and finally decided to give it a try again this spring. Neither meal left me wanting to return any time soon. It's overpriced for both the portion size and how good the food tastes .. which is rather bland and unmemorable.

Atmosphere was a tad better on this last visit as they apparently got the message and toned down the harsh lighting. Still really cramped in there.

I got stuck in the fricking hall the one time I went.

That's pretty much the only thing I remember about it. I don't think the food was bad or anything, I only can recall sitting in a fricking shotgun house hall and nothing really about the food, though.

yeah it's not the best space in the world that's for sure. tables are close together, sometimes you're facing a wall, sometimes you're forced to look directly at another customer while eating, sometimes there are waiters constantly squeezing by you.. . can be quite obnoxious.

as for the food I too don't think it is terrible or anything - just given how much you get and the level of cooking I'd rather be paying $12-$16 bucks per dish rather than $25-$35. You can eat 1000x better food at Peche or Boucherie for cheaper.

I've been once when it opened and I really enjoyed my meal. I'm clearly in the minority here, but that's my experience.

I believe I shared the scallops and a short rib plate with my date. It's probably the 2 best dishes they have.

I agree the atmosphere isn't 1st rate but that was mainly due to the lighting which appears to be fixed.
