Nothing to it. 16 years ago I dropped one of those tall Arkansas pines slap acrost the middle of a brand new 4WD S-10...from the tailgate acrost the cab and acrost the hood. The tires squatted sidewards when it hit and the windows exploding sounded like a shotgun. I couldn't have centered it more perfectly. $100,000 video moment and nobody had a camera...

Yes I've cut several larger than that and as close to structures as that if not closer. Pines are for beginners talk to me when you can do it with a 150 year old oak

I know of a forestry prof at LSU that dropped a big poplar, and stacked a pecan on top of it in between 2 houses after hurricane Andrew. It was a sight to see. No damage to either house.
