I found a pretty nice store close by that has a pretty big selection of beers. I need some recs. I'm no beer guru, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons. It's a pretty big list, but could someone recommend some beers? I've enjoyed some IPA's that I've tried recently. Mostly Stone IPA. On occasion I like sweet beers. Blue Moon Agave Blonde Ale was really good.

I'm jellus of your store

I'll second the Three Philosophers recommendation. It's kind of got a little cherry taste to it, which you may dig.
I really dig Great Divide Yeti. Lagunitas Hop Stoopid is good. I love Dale's Pale Ale and Ten FIDY. Pretty much everything Real Ale makes is strong.

Went with these two. Drinking the Hop Stoopid now. Great stuff. The other one was recommended by another customer in the store. I'll try more soon.

Hop Stoopid is one of the greatest values out there bar none.

IIRC Cali Belgique was mediocre. I think I've had it and was disappointed by it.

Just opened the Stone Cali-Belgique. Whew, that's a strange flavor. There's like a smoke flavor to it. It's pretty good.

I wouldn't buy any ipas there without checking the date on it, you should do that everywhere really. But that store list De Norte beers, they went out of business a year or two ago. They also list some Great Divide beers that have long been retired.

Ommegang and Unibroue are two breweries I've been enjoying lately. Try a few stronger beers from those two.

Westmalle Trappist Dubbel
Saison Dupont
Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale
Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier

IMO, these are best of their style beers.
