I wouldn't call it pointless. Demps and Williams really disliked Jackson after having to deal with his diva-ish attitude. They traded for a good defender who can score a little bit. Smith is probably one of the most underrated players in the draft. I really like his defense.

I'd still be down to draft cj fair if we can aquire a pick which doesn't sound hard. Anything to shake up the competition at small forward and get a fresh face in that spot. Don't get the russ Smith trade. It has to be a part of another trade it just makes zero sense.
