Not much info on her out there. Maybe one of the comic fans can answer?

Gotham: First Look

I am pretty sure I remember watching the first look and them saying it was an original character written into the show for Jada Pinkett Smith. Some of the villains will be well known and others will not be.

I'm going to add it to my repertoire come fall.

Absolute legend. His inclusion has me interested in this show.

So is this show going to be Gordon constantly losing to the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman...etc?

If not, why does the city need a Batman if the cops can handle them?

Does the Penguin eventually develop some kind of thyroid gland problem? Dude is scrawny.

It's probably going to focus on the corruption of the city and how Gordon is a one man army who needs help. Just my opinion. I haven't read much about it.

Just seems kind of odd...unless they do a major jump forward. How many people are going to watch 5 seasons of build up to Batman? It would make a good mini-series though.

I was also worried about that. I'm not sure why they cast Bruce so young. I guess we'll have to see where they're going with it.

Smallville went for 10 Seasons. I don't know how comparable these two shows will be in their premise, but I feel like there would be a following. I just hope it's done well.

I don't think she's that much older than him though. Maybe a 2 year age difference?

In the description it say's he's a "young boy" and she's a "teenage girl". That could be 2-4 years. I guess that's not so bad.

I'm hoping that the picture just makes her look older. From the picture, it looks like she is in her 20s, and Bruce isn't even in JR high. Although Ivy looks around the same age as Bruce. So hopefully the picture just makes her appear to be older than she really is.

ETA: Murray with the save on the new picture. The poster definitely made her look older than she evidently is.

2 to 4 years is a ok for an age gap between the characters.

She looks a lot younger in this photo.

And you are right, it's a 2-year age difference in real life - not sure about the show.

Judging by the trailer Selina looks to be no more than 2-3 yrs older than Bruce.
