don't laugh, but do any of you watch Al Sharpton on MSNBC?

I don't watch the news all that often anymore because I found that's all so political and divisive. But tonight I decided to click on the news and relax. LOL
Brett Beir is off tonight apparently, so I switched over to "Political Nation" with Al Sharpton.
Each guest of his was black and every segment seemed to be about the injustices being done against blacks.
I mean really Al, you can't keep that noisy drum on your radio show? This is political nation, right?
He was complaining about poll watchers in Mississippi conducting "Voter intimidation".. but didn't show any video to demonstrate it, just verbal accusations-so I guess it must be true.
Al, how much have you spoken out against the actions of the Black Panthers group over the years? Somebody educate me, but I am guessing zero times.
Then he does a story on the poor people of Detroit having their water (Human rights) turned off because "wait for it"...they owe in many cases thousands of dollars to the city for unpaid water usage. Average water bill a month is 75.00 Not bad...Mine is usually 110 a month. He said the national average is 40..so "Detroit is bankrupting poor people" he added.
So if these poor people don't keep a 30% balance paid of whats owed by end of the month, it gets turned off. Sounds to me like the city is going over board by letting them do that. Then he suggest this is all about the Koch brothers wanting to get rid of the poor people. Really? I think they are turning off the water because these people aren't paying their bills Al. It's called the real world in America.
Renting a home comes with obligations that care not about so called human rights. But it's always some kind of conspiracy about the white folk keeping their foot on the black people with Al and his guest and I am just get sick hearing about how awful America is from him and his guests.
He talked about the min wages to 10 plus an hour and then showed all these negative clips from republicans and Rush on how they're against poor people and woman...
Then he was going to show an interview with Michelle Obama on whether she will run for public office...
I am not sure why I care about Al Sharpton, but this country is so stinking divided it's scary. But if I take a deep breathe, I think the news paints a picture of everything to seem far worse than it really is...
Some Fox shows and personalities paint a negative picture of the President all the time..I think that's wrong.
But if we are fair, Fox was very critical of Bush at times and I just don't' see that from Left Media on Obama's handling of many issues that are worth of legitimate criticism. So I am going with Fox as being closer to "objective news"..
Sorry Al, you didn't win me over...though you are entertaining

Neither Yankel Rosenbaum nor the proprietor of Freddy's Fashion Mart could not be reached for comment.

Did he really stoop that low? Good Lord
Yes, the Koch brothers are responsible for the water problem in Detroit

Wow...that's embarrassing
I have a hard time pronouncing words sometimes too, one of the many reasons I am not on a TV.
Kayroe!

That Al Sharpton is a D is all the reason I need to cast my vote for any other party.

i can watch a lot of shows on MSNBC but not reverend al. his delivery and whining is just grating

Yet people wonder why they find themselves in dead last......every year. Sharpton does not help them on this front.

The local Y has it on when I'm doing cardio, and it's all I can do to ignore that racist even when I can't hear him on a screen 20 ft away. The mere fact that MSNBC airs that racist propaganda is enough to discredit the entire network and its endless stream of op-eds on white male privilege.
At least when Mika kept nutting up about 32 oz sodas it was something different for a change (also on the TV at the Y when I was on a morning kick last year). Watching the cohost of Morning Joe harp on about how unhealthy 32oz sodas are was hilarious given that their sponsor (Starbucks) sells sugary caloric explosions every day, some with nearly 1,000 calories (for only 20 oz).
Damn, I hate that network.

Blame Bush and the Koch Brothers for everything.

Did you hear Sharpton's exhortation to "keep racism out of politics" in regard to the Spanish dude that is challenging Rangel up there.
It's good that folk like Sharpton are front and center; goes a long way toward realistic assessments of strategic solutions to problems.
Nature deals the cards; we have to play em' accordingly to win.

Until the network starts super imposing in English across the bottom of the screen (you know, like Swamp People) what he is saying I shall refrain from watching.
