PP7 was the best CB we've ever had and Mo wasn't far behind, but as true freshmen, I think Tre and RR had better seasons.

Can't wait to see these two on the field this fall.

Robinson was more impressive considering the short time he had to work with the team.

Agree on Honey Badger but I was thinking of CB. Tyrann pretty much played as the 5th DB in '10 as a true fr.

I remember watching that North Carolina game. When he came on the field I remember thinking how small he was. After that game I knew he was going to be a special player.

White and Robinson have a chance to be as good as any corners we have had in the past 10 years, no doubt.

We've had tons of successful true freshman corners recently. Mills, PP7, TM, Tharold Simon, Tre, RR and Eric Reid as a safety. It's hard to pick just one. PP7 was the most talented True freshman I've seen not counting TM, I guess.

I gotta go with PP7

OT, but it is going to be interesting how we deal with having Paris assuming he stays at corner, RR, TW, and KT2 all at the corner position.

Imagine a dime package with those 4 out there, RR and KT outside Paris and White insidea, Adams and Battle or Voorhies at safety, against A&m Fun battles ahead.

Mo didn't do a whole lot his freshman year, so he shouldn't even be considered. PP7 was damn good, but really didn't come on until the second half of the season, like RR. For that reason, I'd say Tre is the best out of this group. TM7 had the biggest impact, but he played the nickel while PP7 and Mo held down the corner spots.

The answer to every who-was-better question, with PP7 among the alternatives, is PP7. It always amazes me that a transcedental talent, the likes of which LSU has never had, can play three years here and some people still don't realize it.

We could have had Cam Newton, and some ranters would be asking who was our best QB since 2000.

I'm very excited about RR and TW. But neither were nearly as good as PP7 in any year. To those who think RR did something remarkable against A&M, he did very well, but it was mostly the well orchestrated containment of Johnny Football that shut down those receivers.

Peterson had the better season IMO. Mathieu had the best though.
