Limes now 5/$1

Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons simple syrup
2 oz tequila
1/2 oz triple sec
Lots of ice
Lime wedge

Refreshing as can be on a summer afternoon

Should have taken a pic but just drank it all up.

Change the triple sec to Cointreau and the simple syrup to a splash do agave syrup and you have yourself a nice drink!

+1 on the agave nectar instead of simple syrup.

Grand Marnier or cointreau.

Why any sweetener?

The only correct answer is a pint glass filled with ice, juice from half a lime and half an orange then fill with good tequila.

They're very underrated. Thanks to this post, I now have my Sunday afternoon planned.

What's everyone's choice of tequila? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to quality 'quila.

My lady was a bartender and tequila fan....don't use extreme top shelf stuff, unless you're sleeping on a pile of money, then who cares? For a normal person, something like espolon, cazadores, or sauna hornitos is more than fine.

Don't waste money getting anejos or reposados for margaritas. Blancos will do just fine
