There are several situations where the USA will advance.

After the second set of games, here is what the USMNT needs to advance.
- USA beats Germany... or
- USA ties Germany... or
- Ghana ties Portugal... or
- Portugal beats Ghana and USA advances based on Goal Differential (5 goal lead on Portugal)... or
- Ghana beats Portugal by only ONE goal and USA advances on Total Goals or Head to Head.
TL:DR - Still decent odds.
USA just doesn't need to get destroyed by Germany and should pull for Portugal to win vs Ghana.

Plenty of people that actually watch soccer still dont understand or know the different scenarios, why not sticky it for 24 hours and make it easier on everyone until the result of tomorrows match it known.

Considering we had three threads today asking what we were pulling for in the Germany - Ghana match, I would assume it will be way worse tomorrow when we actually do play if we do not sticky this.
