Because then you'd start posts about Obama tyrannically executing US citizens on US soil.

Is he black? If so, I can answer that question really quickly.

We have a judicial system, not a justice system.

Actual justice is rarely served these days.

State prison officials, however, dismiss the concerns. They say the assault at the prison about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix is a risk that comes with the job of overseeing violent prison inmates.

They should go with my "dig a deep hole and leave him to rot method", or shoot him in the head. I say dig a deep hole because he is not worth the price of that bullet.

Eighth Amendment. Take it up with the Founding Fathers.

Remember when Merle said "if you don't love it, leave it"? The Eighth is part of that.

I'm going to take a WAG that you are a huge proponent of gun rights. So am I. Just keep in mind that if you love the Second Amendment, you gotta accept the Eighth Amendment.

So stop running down this country, Hoss. Cuz you're walking on the fighting side of me.

I dont see why castration is not discussed when dealing with sex offenders. Anyone know? Has it proven to be ineffective or just too cruel and unusual?

If we are forced to keep these animals alive, I wish we would go back to the Pennsylvania system. Rehabilitation does not work. Lock them up in a cell and leave them there. One tiny personal yard they can use one hour a day. No talking. And just leave them there. I'm so tired of keeping crap like this alive and fed and educated. bullshite. You had your opportunities on the outside, and you chose a different path. Now pay for it.

castration

I think some states have allowed sex offenders to opt for castration in order to avoid indefinite detention on mental grounds. That said, I am not certain the castration would prevent a sex offender from offending. Put bluntly, you don't need junk to molest.

Yeah. That's it. It really is that simple. Thanks for clearing things up.

We're better than that as a country

I'm sorry. What exactly was I supposed to clear up for you? I was making a statement of personal beliefs. And it wasn't directed at you.

I'm not trying to be an a-hole. But it's not that simple.

We have a school to prison pipeline going. Louisiana has the highest rate of imprisonment in the world. The entire world. Iran and North Korea imprison a smaller percentage of their population than the Pelican State does. How is that working out for us?

You are entitled to your personal beliefs. I'm asking you to explore them a little.

You understand why that is, right?
