I think some states have allowed sex offenders to opt for castration in order to avoid indefinite detention on mental grounds. That said, I am not certain the castration would prevent a sex offender from offending. Put bluntly, you don't need junk to molest.

I didnt know if the removal of your balls eliminated the desire for all sex or not. It just doesnt seem like you can "cure" sexual depravity as it is something that is ingrained, often from experiences during childhood. Part of my sympathizes with these people because I'm sure they were abused as kids. Who was protecting them? That being said we must protect their would be victims so we dont create another generation of sexual predators.

State prison officials, however, dismiss the concerns. They say the assault at the prison about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix is a risk that comes with the job of overseeing violent prison inmates.

I'd like to see a state prison official get on camera and say this.

Also, the teacher is about to get paid.

Iran and North Korea? They have other ways to deal with sexual offenders. Either they kill them, or make them a cleric.

Clearly a good move. I agree as far as it goes.

Eighth Amendment. Take it up with the Founding Fathers.

Remember when Merle said "if you don't love it, leave it"? The Eighth is part of that.

I'm going to take a WAG that you are a huge proponent of gun rights. So am I. Just keep in mind that if you love the Second Amendment, you gotta accept the Eighth Amendment.

So stop running down this country, Hoss. Cuz you're walking on the fighting side of me.

So what in the hell does this have to do with the piece of shite in the story? He had his due process. He was convicted, of the same damn crime mind you. Plus he's assaulted other people since then. He's an animal that has gone through the judicial system but still hasnt recieved the justice he deserves. He should have his dick cut off and rammed down his throat and then be shot in the frickin head. Period.

I see your point. The population is lower because they kill the offenders.

Nonetheless, something ain't right with the prison system here.

100% agree. Violent and sexual offenders shouldn't see the light of day. Prisons are full because of the war on drugs. I don't understand JudgeHolden's pipeline comment. Everyone has a choice. If they make poor ones, there are consequences. The consequences for vilonet/sexual offenders are not steep enough.

I believe that Jefferson and Madison would consider this cruel and unusual punishment. The Eight Amendment prohibits that.

AMENDMENT VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

When that amendment was written, did they consider that our corrupt government would open the floodgates that are known as our borders and allow TPOS Mexicans to infuse with our public? Did they consider that some twisted frick would see two kids playing in a yard then proceed to kill the younger brother who was protecting his sister and then rape the sister? This happened in May of this year in Virginia. What if this Mexican broke into your house and raped your wife? Should he not be handled with in a cruel and unusual way? What if he slit her throat on the way out? Then does he deserve to be shot? I guess not huh?

No, he shouldn't be. He should be given his due process and sentenced appropriately.

Yeah. The fledgling US had very little control over its borders.

Yeah. After all, they were ok with selling human beings. So they were pretty clear on how sick and perverted human beingws could get.

No. That is the very reason for the Amendment.

I'd suggest you take all that legal jargon back to your elitist liberal enclave and shove it up your arse, Judge.

We have some travesty to lament.

He had his due process. He was sentenced. Then he raped another innocent woman.

So this guy isnt a third world animal? If people like this were met with an iron fist, they would learn over time, or they would be eradicated, they'd be taken out of the gene pool, the world would be alot better off for it, and we wouldnt have to pay nearly as much in taxes. Do you know how much it costs to support one death row inmate for a yr?

If she is an employee of the prison, no, not really. If she is an outside contract employee, then maybe. The prison official is 100% correct in his statement.
