I'm tired as shite and taking the family to the zoo tomorrow and thinking of skipping my morning workout

I've worked out 8 days straight and did a 8 mile run today which is why I'm so tired

It sucks because I know I will feel guilty all day, especially after eating hot dogs and chips at the zoo

nothing wrong with a cheat day every now and then. just enjoy yourself tomorrow and get back at it on Friday

I think I have a hernia, so I may be missing a lot of workouts in the future

nope but I do get pissed when it throws my schedule off and I am working out on friday instead of drinking.

I try to workout sun-thurs nights with some cardio thrown in on fri and sat if I got the time.

You need a rest day. Listen to your body.

Yes.

If you do it long enough you almost get addicted to the endorphin release and start feeling like you're withdrawing if you miss.

I was a kinesiology major and they all said that. Been working out solid since I hit 300lbs last year (lost 56 pounds in 10 months plus a back injury thanks crossfit) but I have yet to get the endorphin rush.

I use to. I would workout 5-6 days a week. For past 1.5 yrs. except the occasional Injury. In past 3 wks my heads not in the game. Went yesterday and just tanked right in the gym. Taking rest of week off. Burned out on it. It's good stuff but has stopped being fun for me.
