The playa mujeras is the newer one of theirs. I have been a few times and loved them.

Thats the one I wanted to go to, but my travel agent says another resort is being built next to playa mujeras and there's alot of loud construction going on

I literally got back from Excellence Playa Mujeres on Monday. Yes, there is construction, but from what I understand, unless you are in building 9 you don't notice it.

We heard it once the entire trip.

It was very nice. I had no complaints at all. We just had a normal room, and did not feel like we missed out on anything.

Went to their Dominican Republic resort (Excellence Punta Cana) recently. Loved it. Service and amenities were top notch. Food was great. I have heard the same thing others have mentioned about the Playa Mujeres location - It is newer and considered their nicest resort. Also heard they plan to open a Jamaica location within the year or so. We sprung for the "Excellence club". It has its perks, but a great time can be had without being in that club. I would recommend the DR location to others for sure. I would also have faith in their other locations based off of my experience.

I have been to several of the Secrets and Excellence resorts. The Playa Mujeres is much nicer. I have also been to the Eldorado one the other guy mentioned. It is nice also but we prefer the excellence.

Yes. Apparently Excellence food is better than any other all inclusive. Thats about all I got.

You can always go to the Isla Mujeres.

We went on a catamaran through the excellence resort and it took us snorkeling on the way.

we have been to both playa mujeres and riviera cancun and we had a slightly better expericence at the riviera cancun. It really all boils down to the service and what was available (drinks, etc)

I'd recommend getting a floor level room and the excellence vip with swim up suite. Eliminates stairs when shite faced. Also your back patio area is jumping distance to the pool. You don't have to trek around the hotel soaking wet to get back to your room or the need to bring bags of shite around with the room right there. Plus there is a bar on the other side the pool. Getting the vip addition gives you better brand liquor like grey goose.

Add to top it off get the full hydro therapy and massage at the mile spa. Its stupid how you feel after. Like jello.

Honeymooned at the one in Playa. Place is the tits. We are going back next summer.

I have also heard good things about the Riviera and D.R. locations, but I think Playa gets the highest ratings.

I read that as Riveria Cajun. I thought this was going to be lafayette vs BR thread.

There is an awesome taco stand in cancun between the bus stop and bar district. 10 cent tacos back in 2008.
