I think I would have had the same reaction if I scored in a World Cup for the USA. Hell, I probably would have cried... or just dropped trou

Thank God Jurgen is following the German playbook and made sure John was playing for team USA. You know the Germans were trying to claim him

That look he had on his face was real. Shock and joy. What an awesome feeling that must be.

He looked more shocked than the fans that he scored

Off topic: Does anyone know where I can find the last 4 episodes of the US Men's March to Brazil? It's not showing up on Watch ESPN, unlike the games. I suppose this is because it's a show rather than a game or something.

Seriously that was one of the most sincere things I've ever seen. It was so genuine and honest that I was moved by it, especially after seeing it a couple of times. It's like he doesn't understand reality anymore and slowly lies down so he can process the moment by himself for a second.

This is the kind of shite I love about sports. Pure emotion that can change at the drop of a hat. Seeing what it means to the athletes and means to the fans, that shite is awesome.

So awesome.

The shock and joy seemed to overwhelm him to the point where he didn't just choose to lay down, he HAD to lay down so he wouldn't faint.

So happy for the kid.
