What are some of those random and obscure international teams that you are a fan of?

Ive been a fan of Croatia and Bosnia for a while now. I love the way Croatia plays and Modric has been 1 of my favorites players since he got to Tottenham. And Mandzukic is a good striker... wish they would have had him vs Brazil. But they are really fun to watch play with some quality players throughout their squad. A lot of people saw that vs Brazil.

And I just cant help but root for Bosnia. They didnt declare to become an independent country til 1992, which was followed by the Bosnian War which lasted til 1995. Before that, they were used as a military defense and arms country by Socialists Federation Republic of Yugoslavia. They've only been an independent nation without war for about 20 years. And in those 20years, they have become a really good nation, will be part of NATO soon, and have a really good soccer squad that has progressed over the years. They were great in qualifying, tying for 1st with Greece but had a much better goal difference with 30 goals scored and only 6 scored against them for a +24 in GD (Greece scored 12 and gave up 4 for a +8) . And Im a big fan of Dzeko and Pjanic as well. I think they could do really well in this World Cup and surprise a lot of people.

What about you? What are some of those random international teams that you are a fan of?

Diego Forlan was my favorite non-US player in the last World Cup. Thought it wouldve been cool for him and Suarez to carry Uruguay all the way to the finals

Got to add Switzerland too because my very first Fifa game was Fifa 08 and on my create a club I picked some guy named Alexander Frei as one of my 2 starting forwards. Dude was a straight up beast for me and I've been a Swiss fan ever since

Belgium - heritage
Croatia - like watching them play, and their style of play, and for some reason I am interested in the Yugoslavian teams and the history of that region
Bosnia and Herzegovina - same as Croatia
Chile - their attacking style makes for some fun games and they are a bit of an underdog

I grew up watching Ukrainian matches. Croatia because of Srna. Bosnia because of Pjanic.

Poland, a couple of friends are in Warsaw, when we visited they got me a Bialwo Czerwoni scarf. I also always liked Borus for being such a dick against Rangers... even though I hate Celtic more... He had some balls.

Hrvaska - always loved their checkerboard uniforms
Cote d'Ivore - love the name of their country, national anthem, colors, crest, and Drogba!
Nederland - colors and Robben and van der Vaart
Deutschland - took German in college so I feel kinda connected; plus their precision passing is fun to watch. Also, Michael Ballack!

Colombia. They are already super fun to watch with their emerging young star James Rodriguez. Would have been awesome to watch them with a superstar like Falcao

Bosnia

they have become part of St.Louis, with more Bosnians living in St.Louis, than anywhere in the World but Bosnia.

Plus, Vedad went to HS and played for Saint Louis U, before heading to Europe.

The Netherlands

My parents lived there (Amsterdam) for a year. I spent about a month there in total (2 separate trips). They love their freaking soccer and I never met an unfriendly face. They have a really cool culture and they won me over.

My 2nd favorite international team behind our boys.
