I don't write long reviews but I wanted to give this place another thumbs up. Brought a client there a few nights ago and it was a success!
The tuna and sweetbread apps were great and the bone in ribeye were excellent. Cool atmosphere and a good waitress topped it off. Only criticism would be that it's slightly overpriced.
It's definitely now on one of my go to places in NOLA.

Good to hear.
From what I've heard, I think this is clearly the best steakhouse in NOLA now.

I'm a sucker for sweetbreads. Unfortunately, every restaurant these days that offer them want to batter and deep fry them like chicken. All you taste is batter and fry oil. When I was at Doris last month the waiter said they were his favorite app. I told him of my recent disappointments and he almost dared me not to get them. Needless to say, I ordered them and they were fantastic.... easily in the top 3 in town (Clancy's & Bayona the other 2).
Steaks ain't too shabby either.

Sweetbreads at Upperline are very good.

Its pricey, but comparable to some of the other steakhouses in town (Mr. John's, Morton's, Dickie Brennans). Agree that the food and atmosphere is fantastic.

Went a few weeks ago. Blown away. Can't go worn with any of the steaks and the tuna app is on time

I haven't been but I've already decided that I don't like it. Too "precious" in concept and origin.
Actually, I'm joking, but I am just slightly skeptical. We'll see. IMO, LaBoca serves the best beef in the city, hands down.

La Boca is still my favorite but Doris topped Mr. Johns and moved into #2 for me
