I cant disagree as Ive never had the sandwich..............but of all sandwiches I can think of a Muffaletta is probably my least favorite.

So you've never had it, but you know you don't like it? I know I can count on your opinion.

There are a bunch of opinions like that on this board. Posters recommending places they've never been or bashing them. I like the ones that bash ____________ restaurant in NOLA when if you put that same restaurant in their armpit of a home town it would be the best place in town.

So the best place to get a sandwich in Kansas is at a place named after a guy obviously from Oklahoma?

In Idaho their winner is a Philly?

Im just not a fan of the muffaletta. I don't like the olive portion of it.

I also think that there are many other sandwiches that would better represent LA.

I had one the other day and it couldn't hold a candle to the Shrimp Poboy from Parkway. Not to mention the grease was burnt up.
