I'm sure no one's ever bothered to tell you this, but when your mind runs to the most radical conclusion in every situation, people stop taking you seriously. You probably wanted him impeached on 21 January 2009--for his birth certificate or Jeremiah Wright or something else you thought impeachable.

The problem is that most every president going back to Jefferson's purchase of the Louisiana Territory has done something impeachable. Some regarded as great, including Lincoln, FDR, and Reagan, could have been impeached on multiple charges. But only two have been impeached. One for firing his fricking Secretary of War (which was his constitutional prerogative) and one for an investigation into a blowjob (admittedly, Clinton perjured himself on multiple counts and should have been impeached on that alone).

It's not an excuse at all. It evidences an historical understanding of the gravity of impeachment--and puts the worthiness of particular executive actions into perspective.

No, it's an excuse. You want to make it sound like others and I are irrational for calling for Obama's impeachment when the truth is there's not a single wrongdoing he could do where you would call for his impeachment.

Hmmmph...just listened to one of the Special Forces guys who was looking for the missing Bergdahl. Not a happy camper, re the release of those devils.
Said that that bunch machine gunned a school of girls over there; and that a 7 yr. old boy was hung, for having dollars in his pocket. Said that the World is a lot less safe, after those heathen have been turned loose.
Obama will rue the day he went around Congress and cut this God-awful deal. If Bergdahl turns out to the be an Islamist sympathizer...BEFORE he split...then most every single terror attack becomes a fodder for a 'swift boat' type add. The Dems will have to run for cover on this one. Obama will on his own, on this one.

I agree with Navy...
A lot of people are quick to throw out "Impeachement" and I don't know if any of the scenarios thus far lead that far.
However, I think if Obama did indeed circumvent Congress to release these 5 AQ higher ups, then it is getting pretty fricking close
