Looks like Mack may be Lou's heir apparent...

I look forward to his deep Xs and Os insight and his playful banter with the always engaging and delightful Mark May

honestly he really really is. I've met the guy a few times and I have to say, it's hard not to genuinely like him. I think he was born to be on tv and this is a great fit. But he needs to take the Corso spot, not the Holtz spot imo. He doesn't fit the adversarial style they've set up for that group.

Mack Brown is UT's new Minister of Propoganda.

He should do well. He's a likeable figure and should do well being impartial.

I just don't see him offering much in the way of opinions or insight.

He might be likable, but I don't see him playing well off the other two.

Corso makes Gameday fun because he's a character. It's what makes Inside the NBA so successful... Barkley is a character.

Replace Corso with Mack Brown and that show won't be the same.

Uhh he needs to realize that he's kind of a goofball and just embrace it. Stop fighting it, Mack

Les would be perfect to replace Corso.

was waiting on this.

He'll do just fine. Not an earth-shattering hire but Mack is a good BS'er and should fit in well with that crew.

Also agree Les has a future in the same arena. Similar personalities really..

I've always said that Bob Golic would be a great fit for this job or the College Gameday crew. Yes, he's a Notre Dame blowhard, but I think he'd be great up there with Corso, Fowler, Palmer, and Greene. He's an extremely personable and likeable guy.
