According to what I've read, Houston has an advantage at pitcher tomorrow for some reason. I don't actually know the reason, but it keeps being said.

Yep even though Houston has played 10 more innings than us and had to use some good arms to finish southeastern. The bullpen who shut out Florida in the sec champ game, ole miss at their place, and many other teams is at a disadvantage.

They pitched their 5th most used starter in the opener, then 1,2, and three since then, so like us I think they're on their #4.

Don't know about their relievers. They've played 10 more innings in the regional, though. I know they're deep, but I can't imagine they have a significant advantage.

They will start Tyler Ford or Andrew Lantrip. Ford has only pitched 2 innings so far and is 9-0 on the year or could go back with Lantrip the starter that pitched only 2 innings against Bryant. All i know is the combo of Cartwright, Bugg, Person etc hopefully will work. Houston's staff is legit.

None of their pitchers have faced a lineup like ours this year. Really hope we come out fired up and crush the ball tom night!

In the end, that's all that matters- we need to come out tomorrow and score runs, take the momentum back, regardless of who is pitching, but I still think UH is at a disadvantage after having played those two games today.

Ford, Tyler
1.22 ERA, 9-0, 4 saves, 66.1 IP, 44 hits, 10 runs, 9 ER, 5 walks, 47 strikeouts

Lantrip, Andrew
1.55 ERA, 6-0, 40.2 IP, 29 hits, 9 runs, 7 ER, 5 walks, 33 strikeouts

This won't be easy.

Neither one of those two guys walk a lot of people so they must throw a lot of strikes. Hopefully LSU comes out playing very aggressively and taking their hacks!

And then the rant will complain that they aren't taking pitching and working the count.
