I know we are #2 for McFadden. After watching Peters I think he has a lot more upside to him. I can see him as a All American in purple and gold... He will be a straight clock cleaner when he gets to around 220-225 at that height. And he will gain another 20 lbs in the next year or two. Can you imagine a super sized laron landry. Or a second coming of chad jones..

This is your guy then!

Peters is a beast, but it's hard to convince Bassfield kids to leave the state.

Hopefully KT3 can work some magic on McFadden and I agree. Peters isn't leaving MS.

Recruiting at the highest level isn't like ordering whatever you want off of Amazon and it just shows up at your door on signing day.

I'm sure they would take Jamal Peters if it were that simple.

Fwiw, His mom is very impressed with LSU and how hard the coaching staff works. Seems we are putting in the time and effort. May not work out for us, but we are definitely in the running.

Our record at his position speaks for itself. All we can do is recruit him as hard as possible and hope for the best.

He has a big frame and could gain much more than just 20 pounds if he wanted. He could play safety or OLB here IMO.

There is no such thing as a super sized Laron. He's a beast.

He's my top choice for Safety. Kid is a stud. And has only played football since high school. He was a basketball guy. He's got everything you need to be a great defender. Size, speed, strength, physicality, etc. Gonna be a stud. And we are def in the mix for him.

Jamal Peters seems to hold LSU in high regard though. Tweeted at Deshawn Raymond and Donte Jackson about playing together. "@JamalPeters21: @Greatness_7 @Donte3_ Lets ball at LSU"

He is 3" taller and 20lbs heavier than laron landry when laron graduated high school. He ran a 4.39 and is still growing..... oh and he has 1 year till he graduates. So if he continues to grow and broaden he will probably be graduating next year at 6-3 or 6-4 210-225 lbs and best believe that LSU will have him on the weights from the day he shows up to work. Laron was 6' and 185 his freshman season at lsu

Listed at 6'0 and 225lbs on the colts NFL roster laron is big 11 years after he graduated high school. And Jamal right now is 6'3 205 running 4.39 as a junior.

So hopeful that brings things into concept on Jamal. He is jacked at 17

He's very close to the ms schools but peters is the real deal. I was interested in peters before Jamal Adams. Hope the staff stays on him.

I think it's hilarious that every kid that favors LSU over another is always the one who has more upside.
