Yeah Ive been hearing this for a little while now. He likes the MS schools and has a connection there with 2 cousins playing for Ole Miss, but he didnt grow up being an Ole Miss or Miss St fan. He never was a football guy until high school, he was a basketball guy. So its not like he grew up being a fan of the MS schools or feels an allegiance to them. Im not saying he wont go to a MS school or anything like that, just saying he wasnt a childhood fan of those schools, or football for that matter. So nobody really has a head start or "home field advantage" with him.

Hope we land this kid. Gonna be a stud.

I have watched this kid for 4 years. Played an "active" backup safety role his soph yr, moved to playing an OLB last year, not sure where he will be lined up this year and has played WR both yrs. Kid can flat out jump any DB. Also, he did play JR high football and caught 10 TDs as an 8th grade TE. Really hope he dons the purple and gold because he has all the tools and will only get better. Word around town is that LSU is definitely the "leader" after the picnic. Still a long way from Feb.

Peters could be All-World at OLB.

CJ Moseley was 6'2" 240. This kid could easily hold 240/250 on his frame and still be scary fast and athletic for a LB. If he's 6'3" 200 before his senior year in HS he will add more weight guaranteed.

We can all dream though

Going to be real interesting to see how well Jerome has developed over the summer... Be his 2nd year of starting and won't have the luxury of having Moore playing in the middle... Although, the other MLB will be back and that kid is a sleeper recruit speed, size, frame and is physical at the point of attack...

I see that alot on here but i don't think this case counts. LSU is in the running but I don't think they're favored for either player at the moment.

Peters was one of my top wants in the class back when there was "no way we pull him from bassfield".. He's not suddenly good bc he mentioned LSU.
