As long as there is still a waiting list to get tickets they can continue to keep raising them.

No, they can raise them 5+ more times and still be okay. Demand is still there.

Yes. Tickets are dirt cheap as is IMO
It's One of the many reasons there are so many empty seats in TD these days. Not much incentive to sell your tickets for a measly $25-$50 bucks (the amount you're gonna get on the secondary mkt to the bulk of our home gameS)...people are more inclined to eat their ticket costs and let the seats go unused.
Off topic, but other reasons attendance is down nationwide:
-increasing availability of every game nationwide on TV
-fan comforts (beer, WiFi, clean restrooms, concessions, parking, traffic)
-tailgating at many schools has become more important to some fans than the game itself
-relative inability to watch other nationwide games While at the game (WiFi and video board use can help this)
-no Reward/Penalty for attending/notAttending....donation rankings (with the rise of importance nationwide on ones ranking in things like TAF, it is also important to somehow incorporate that Into attending/NotAttending just as they do for students

Yes
Because you will pay
Next question

I opted out last year. Too rich for my blood. This year I'll go to most games for free and paid about typical full TAF per game price for 8 Bama tickets on the secondary market.

Yes, as long as the Oil industry fuels the sales of tickets

Huh? About 75,000 seats in the stadium cost less than $1000, which includes Tradition Fund donation. The bulk of which are $700 or lower.
0 seats in the stadium cost more than $1450, including Tradition fund (excluding suites and stadium club of course which are a very small portion of stadium anyway)
It's not chump change, but when you start looking at it on a per game basis, tickets ain't that expensive. And hence 70,000 season tix sold every year and a waiting list for new season tickets,

Yes they can & will. LSU ticket prices are some of the lowest in the conference.
I'm a senior at LSU and already paid my dues to be put on the waiting list. They told me it'd be ~ a minimum of 5 years for the 2 tickets I requested.

Very Good points.
I also think the FANS Lsu is losing are the fans that stay ALL Game and are those who have been life long Lsu fans , unlike the fare weather fans a lot of schools are attracting with the High dollar tickets. When the losing starts, these fans will drop Lsu like a bad girl friend.

Yea, When your paying $12k a year for Season Tickets something has to give. The more money you pay, the more money you lose. Who want's to throw there money away like that? Not me for sure.
I see more fans wanting to tailgate rather than go to the game.
I have a friend who buy's tickets from me every year say, "I think Im going to pass this year" He related to me that his family feels more like staying home and watching it on TV, than going to the game. I'm hearing more stories like this daily.
