Just got a BGE and trying to decide what to cook. Did burgers, a flank steak and ribs over Memorial Day Weekend. Not sure what to cook next. I'd love to do a pork butt or brisket but it's essentially just the wife and I eating (unless we decide to invite some friends over).

Anyone have any favorite recipes? Or a good site with some ideas?

I've been doing a lot of wings on mine lately. I bought a white fajita seasoning at LaMorenita and I really like the flavor on the wings. They take about 40 minutes.

Do a whole chicken. They really do a chicken well.

I also do a whole filet of salmon quite often.

Roast some vegetables.

Whole fryers, cut in half. Backbone taken out. Got some from maxwells and rubbed the day before with the Vietnamese chili garlic sauce. Basted one with bbq, the ither with terriyaki. So damn good.

Wings work for me too! What seasoning did you get from LaMorenita. I think I'm gonna make a run there this weekend.

get a small butt. You can do sandwiches one day, tacos another, some pulled pork nachos another, put it on pizza, in a salad, in chili, in some mac n cheese, etc

It is ElVanado white fajita seasoning. They make a red fajita that is good too. Works good on flank steak.

I also buy the little glass bottles of Del Primo Salsa Verde and dip wings in it. Or use it on scrambled eggs. Good stuff.

What chili sauce did you use?

I've been using byrons butt rub. Cooking 275 until internal temp 200. Delicious stuff...

Spatchcocked chickens are good too but will be done quick. I like low n slows if I don't have any plans for that day.. The end result of a low n slow is always very rewarding.
