I have raised beds, so I think I'll be okay as far as draining Just hope the rain/wind does not damage my plants. I'll be pissed...my tomatoes plants are loaded right now.

If you're afraid of them splitting due to too much water, pick them green, put in a paper lunch bag, and place it by the window. They'll ripen that way just fine.

(though nothing beats the taste of vine-ripening...this is a close second place)

I think they'll love it. Haven't had rain in a while.

I know the cucumbers will thrive, but I'm worried about the tomatoes.

The rain 2 weeks ago washed away a ton of my soil in West LA.

Went to compost pile early 3 days ago when I saw all this rain coming. Hoping that since it is somewhat mulch-like right now it will hold up better than the soil 2 weeks ago did. I guess I'll find out on Friday.

Got home last night and 4 of my pepper plants were laying down. Tied them up (should have done that already, obviously) and now I just have to hope for the best, I guess. I think they'll be okay if we can get any sun this morning.

We got a lot yesterday, but it had been dry for a week or two. I think it's supposed to be pretty rainy through the weekend.

Had to trim my tomato plants and pick a few green ones. Some were leaning over from all the rain and weight of the tomatoes.
