Jurgen supporters, gather here*

I've sat on this one for a day, but I'm jumping on the Klinsy bandwagon.

Bob Ley said it best on ESPN this morning, when he compared the Landon omission to the Sterling case: "It's shocking...if you haven't been paying attention for 18 months."

Yeah, it's still surprising, and yeah, Donovan could help this team. But I trust Jurgen's instincts on this one.

Let's not act like this decision doesn't put that much more pressure on JK. He could have easily let Donovan come along, and no one would have said a word.

Instead, he a made a tough decision, and one that he believed in. I read quotes like this from Alejandro Bedoya and wonder if Donovan has the same mindset:

I just don't know that Landon has that drive anymore, and you need that to get out of the Group of Death. Maybe he does, but I'm not sure, and Jurgen definitely isn't. You need to be sure in a WC.

Donovan himself said his body can't handle the training regiment anymore. He said he can't be consistent for 10 straight days. That's a must in the WC.

I'm not saying I agree with JK's decision. In fact, I disagree. I think Landon should be there. But I support the decision. I support this coach. I support this team.
