Texans are the worst kind of rednecks.

They have a special cheesiness to their character that no one can touch. The unapologetic over-the-top dumbassness that is Texas combined with the backwoods yee-haw mixes into perfect cocktail of disaster. I think it's contagious to the bigger city dwellers as well, but there it just comes across as soulless and pretentious to no end.
We haven't had a Texas vs Louisiana thread in a while so I thought I'd just throw this out there.
