Went to Fork for the first time all year yesterday. Caught 35 or so. Had a seven, two sixes, two fives, and a bunch of 3-4 lb. fish. If any of y'all are looking for some new scenery, you might want to head west.

I've been threatening to pull my boat over there for quite a few years. It's just too easy to stop at Caddo Lake 15 minutes later though.

One day I'll make it.

TClay you need to do it. I lived over there for about 7 years and went at least once a week. Only had about 3 trips that I didn't catch at least one.

I wish I knew the hump we fished with a guide long ago. You could win it without moving fishing straight under the boat with lead heads and sassy shads.

A bunch of my cousins fished the Legend Tournament last weekend. They caught about 20 or so/day, but no overs.

I used to fish the Skeeters owners tourny. Won my division once and placed a few other times.

Yeah, this will be my fifth one to fish. It's my favorite tournament of the year. It's the most well run tournament I've ever fished, and the best bang for your buck. Be careful though, it gets REALLY crowded, there were over 1,000 boats in it last year plus another 500 or so weekend warriors. You'll get cut off everywhere you go, and if someone sees you catch a fish there is going to be a crowd around you.

I might, I am trying to work out a weekend to go prefish, but quickly running out of time. I have family that live in Yantis, but none of them fish. Getting my cousin to ask his buddies that fish for some info, not sure how reliable it will be though. You in that area?

ETA: Nevermind, see you're in Athens.
