- A lawyer for a woman who accused Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston of rape said his client was at a code of conduct hearing for two of Winston's teammates on Tuesday but Winston was not.

quote:

Instead Winston, a relief pitcher for the baseball team, was in North Carolina, where the Seminoles are participating in the ACC tournament this week, said sports information director Jason Leturmy.

Winston's teammates on the football team, Chris Casher and Ronald Darby, were charged with five violations of the student code of conduct related to the Dec. 7, 2012, sexual encounter between Winston and the woman.

Darby and Casher deserve what they get.

Doubtful, seeing as how its a school disciplinary hearing.

I find it hilarious (not) that the two players who cooperated with the investigation will be suspended and/or expelled, while the target of the investigation--who refused to cooperate at every turn--will not be disciplined by the school.

Maybe the team voted on it?

His attorney issued a statement saying Jameis never received notice of the hearing so he didn't go.

I went to school with their SID's sister. I don't think he ever played a competitive sport.

I knew they had a hearing today so I find it hard to believe he didn't.

I'm starting to suspect Jameis Winston is dishonest.

So there is a code of conduct hearing about Winston and this woman 's sexual encounter, how is Winston A) not required to be there and B) not envolved?

Earlier this year on the SEC Recruiting Board, TheOcean made a ban bet with an Alabama fan over who a certain recruit would go with on signing day. Said recruit went with UA.

If he lost the bet, why isn't he banned?

Mods do like to ban over weak arse shite, so this should of been enforced immediately.
