I know there have been a handful of threads about the current WC kits... as well as the '94 denim kit worn by the US. This is a pretty neat article that details how and why the kit came to be. Plus there are a few pictures that are very TD Soccer Board-esk!!!!

DENIM!!!

Kooiman really looks like an in-shape Kenny Powers, but Kenny Powers would think soccer was too gay.

Enjoyed the article, as well as the oral history on the 1994 team that was linked.

Been looking for a place to buy one of these - guess they are gone for good unless you find one on ebay?

One of my biggest regrets is that I found one while randomly walking around Santiago Chile. I didn't buy though, because I knew the guy was ripping me off, and I felt sure if I started walking away he would lower the price.

Just for the awesomeness of the jersey, plus the story of buying it in Chile, it would have been worth it.

My plan was to find a Chillean, or anyone who speaks better Spanish, at my hostel and return. But then decided take a quick trip to Cauquenes with the intent on returning, but ended up going to Buenos Aires instead.
