The Nic Cage/Jared Leto film came before it ya know. And I may be in the minority but I like Lord of War better.

the wife palying dumb the whole time in Lord of War really pissed me off for some reason.

One was guns, the other was diamonds. Africa, plenty of similarities.

Cage did get a Blood Diamonds in Lord, from Baptiste (the only guy I thought had a great performance). Liked both, Blood had stronger performances but Lord had a dark wit in some places and maybe a top ten movie intro.

I don't see much similarity.

One is about a Ukranian-American that deals guns around the world.

The other is about diamond trade by a Rhodesian and ties into the history of the guerilla wars.

Like both alot. I gravitate to Lord of War as being better though. More entertaining and rewatchable to me personally.

What do the two have in common? It's not a point break/fast and furious deal so I confused on what you are saying.

I tend to like Lord of War a little better (more humor and rewatchability). And one of my favorite intros ever.
