I think this guy is gonna be special. I know people say that a lot but him with Payton and Brees seems like it could be the perfect fit.

Yea I know that's why I'm confused that's like 2.2 mill and it says no bonus.

The cap went up significantly since last year, but the rookie pool allotment stayed pretty much the same, so his contract will look similar to Kyle Long's (last year's #20 pick):
5/17/2013: Signed a four-year, $8,300,952 contract. The deal included a $4,417,056 signing bonus. 2014: $782,316, 2015: $1,159,632, 2016: $777,158, (+ $759,790 roster bonus due in March), 2017: Club Option, 2018: Free Agent
