Champion WheelyBird Auto-Feed Trap for $275

Better machines to look at? This will not get a ton of use, but I want something I can use to shoot when I am alone...

You gonna launch those across the diversion while sitting on your pier with a shotgun?

I use the 4$ arm when I'm alone. I just sling em then throw up my gun. I feel like the lack of balance and having to multi task before I shoot makes me a better shot. I'm also pretty broke so I don't have the option

We have one very similar to that at the camp. I'm not sure of the name brand. I think it was right at $300 though. I really like that that one has wheels. The one we use isn't heavy, but awkward to carry. Make sure you have a hot battery. It sucks when halfway through the motor can't re-set the arm. And make sure you have enough cord for the foot pedal. When I shoot by myself, I can really only get shots going away from me, because we don't have enough cord to set up the machine for a true crossing shot.

Perhaps... I can also use it to drop clays in passing boats...

I can shoot into the swamp behind the house and have access to to property to shoot about 5 minutes from the house.

As far as a hot battery when we have use those we will often run the cables back to a truck or if you have power than run it off a battery charger – they do need a lot of power.

I read reviews for some of their stuff, and it might have been just that model, that said it was junk...
