Looking for a new gym in NOLA

My contract is up with my current gym and I'm looking for a new place to workout. Anyone know of some good gyms in NOLA? TIA

What makes a good gym to you? The one I go to is next to my office and never ever crowded, so to me that's a good gym. The machines aren't new, but it serves its purpose.

I see why now, but really though. Simply Fit and Anytime Fitness are nice gyms with decent prices. They just remodeled "most" of the Anytimes in the Nola area. Vets, Freret, and Tchoup I know for a fact. Never crowed eitherThis post was edited on 5/14/14 at 12:43 pm

I go to this during the day. Its cheap and kinda shitty, but oh well. It does what I need it to do when I actually get there.

French is mostly filled with non-English speaking folks and juiceheads that go there to talk to all the chicks that do 10 minutes of cardio and leave. I still get my supplements from Smoothie Time.

Yeah that's how I've been feeling about it for a year or so. When I got there this morning they told me my membership had expired 54 days ago. I'm free now, so I'm exploring my options.

Just know that it's a gym, it's not a gym/day spa with a pool and sauna and a bunch of other shite you'll never use.
