FBD was a NOLA Rebirth pale ale. If this and Parish Envie were on tap together, I'd never pick the Rebirth.

Word from parish Saturday is they tinkered with Envie and are not happy with the most recent batch. Has a "melon" flavor.

I'll be there later this week and will get the scoop.

Didn't you puke after taking one sip ? All BS aside it's nice to have this beer in a lot of the music venues in town. It's a step up from blonde, amber, and Canebrake selections most places have. Will be a good beer to fill an ice chest with on fishing trips, MG, etc.

I agree here, I think the Envie is a lot better, but I would prefer the Rebirth over any Amber or Blonde as Wise mentioned below.

FBD - Brandy Cherry Fred from the Wood. Delish. Very strong brandy/wood flavor. A sipper, for sure.

I agree with all this, but once rebirth is canned it'll be the best local option for tailgating and such.

Dammit. Another beer to push back the canning of Hurrican Saison. I've been on those guys forever to can it. I'd murder it in the summer if it were available in cans, but apparently I'm the only one. The girl at the taproom said it doesn't sell well and they end up having to buy back a lot of kegs.

Hurricane Saison had its recipe changed. It's much better now. Also, I believe what I understood is that Flambeau Red is up next. After Rebirth, that is.

I should be at the pub after work.

hurricane saison is likely never gonna make it to cans. Rebirth should be canned in June, flambeau should follow next although I've also heard 7th street in the canning talks. They also just got approval for the sours division so I'm sure that will reach packaging too.

Their time lines arent very timely. It took almost 2 years from the time they said they would be canning ics to it actually happening.

I might swing by for one. I can't go too hard tonight. I plan on tying one on tomorrow night, I'm sure I'll be a mess.

I would assume they would go the bomber route for packaging sours.
