Wish this was an option originally. I use my kinect <10% of the time.

The voice control is my favorite part about the Bone. It's worth the extra $100.

May have to put the One back into consideration. Sure upgrading is the right thing to do at this point. May still go PS4 though

at everyone who said it wouldn't happen

I got one for 450 with a kinect and a game, so I win.

Another move b/c MS is getting its arse kicked perhaps. For the longest time they said it would not happen and would be sold with theOne. Their long term vision may have flopped. Interested in what the April sales look like.

Maybe they'll remove the camera and take off another $30. Then remove the voice control and take off another $100. Just keep removing features and slashing prices, until you find success

Those are part of the Kinect dumbass.

This saddens me. It pretty much ruins Kinect development.

i am upgrading soon.. as a xbox 360 owner since day one i am still torn on what console i want, and this makes it worse. I would never use kinect and didnt like being forced to get it and was leaning heavy toward ps4 anyway because of the hardware advantage. But i really liked the 360 and waa expecting the xbone to be the better system. Still have no clue what im going to get

I'm still leaning PS4 for my eventual upgrade, but this has introduced the One into the conversation.

Why don't you guys get a job and just buy both of them?

If I was an early adopter of the XBO, I'd be pretty pissed off at this news. I was looking forward to seeing if developers did some interesting things with the tech but why would anyone spend resources building Kinect functionality into their games if a lower percentage of users will have the device over the life of the console?

I feel like MS should have at least given it a full year before going this route.

Well, I'm having some plumbing issues at the house and want to replace my windows. I also don't have an oven yet so purchasing both is way down on the priority list for me.

Both can do what you want then. I don't see what the big deal is.

The Show is, and will continue to be until Microsoft has a legitimate answer, a system seller for me.

What's the point of having both? It's a game. I already kind of made my mind on the PS4 but being they have a new promo coming out it kind of "Opened back up my recruiting process".

As a day one adopter, this box is becoming something completely different than what I thought I was buying into.

I bought it for the 'always online' features and for the hope of Kinect 2.0 being utilized.

Very discouraging...
