"As we talk about the fan experience, which is very important, I think there may come a day that we may sell beer at college events at LSU," Alleva said when asked about the possibility. "I think at some point — I don't know if it will be five years from now, 10 years from now — but I think at some point, I think it's going to happen."

Tin Roof bro, it's pretty Damn good. Or Abita Golden and Purple haze mixed and it's purple and golden

Hmm... would this be good? Because if so, I think you just came up with a new gameday favorite.
I guess it would just be like purple haze with the raspberry flavor diluted.

I'll take championships over beer in the stadium.

I'll give them this, a few beers in me makes obnoxious fans seem a little less obnoxious.

There were beer vendors on North Stadium Dr before the Spring Game. I hadn't seen that before, and the vendor said they'd be doing it in the fall. Isn't that new? A small step in that direction.

I do enjoy pounding heady brews at the Tigue when I am there. But Alex Box Stadium takes dumps on ML "Tigue" Moore Field.

i'm an alcoholic so the tigue is perfect for me. not interested in all the other shenanigans exept for the game and a buzz.

It will take A LOT to convince the LSU Administration to get on board. Maybe the Athletic Department has a bit of leverage because of the "donations" it makes to the academic end every year, but LSU has been trying desperately to remove itself from the "party school" label ever since the Ben Winn incident in the late 90's. Anyone that went to LSU from then until now knows this.
And obviously nothing happens until the SEC changes its stance.

The rest don't matter. At this point, it is speculation that this will even happen

Right. I was just trying to lay out what all stands in the way of this actually happening.

The Tigue is a good place to catch a game though.
