I know at this point he's pretty much the front runner for the starting center spot. But what are his measurable's. How high is his ceiling, etc. In other words, how much better or worse can we expect the center play to be compared to last year with DLP?

He's good enough for Sean and staff to not be worried about getting someone else which in the past has turned out just fine for us.

I think Goody will sign, but I think Lelito will get first crack at it. We freaked out in 11 and signed Kreutz and inserted him right into the starting role. I don't think Goody would perform that poorly, but if you even think Lelito is the future, you start building that now.

That's 5" better than Michael Sam, since he's the gold standard these days for 7th rounders and UDFAs

Also, the Boz Scaggs connection is obvious.

Why do we think Goody will come in and save our C position? How old is he now? San Fran didn't re-sign him for a reason...

I don't mind him here as a backup but i concur that Lelito should be able to beat out an old goodie and this is our best case scenario unless there's a june cut for a vet that still got game left.

I don't think he'll come in and save it. I would just sign him to a one year deal for depth and mentoring. I want Lelito to start.
