I bought tickets to this for $35 a piece on Saturday as a fun thing to do with a girlfriend. We both haven't actually been to a boil yet this year.

Anybody ever been to this? It seems like an all you can eat thing with other types of food. It seems like a good time. Got a band.

This place any good? What should I expect? For $35 a ticket I figured it must be decent at least.

UPDATE:

Ended up not having to pay for the food which was fine. It was absolutely horrible anyway. Whoever paid for that got absolutely ripped off on the buffet. Food was bland, not seasoned. Crawfish were full of mud, like they didn't even clean them before boiling.

DragonSmoke was weird. They had some small child playing with them the entire time it seemed. None of us knew any of their "songs" and just seemed it was a bunch of dudes playing and it was just thrown together.

I felt like I needed to be on acid to enjoy them and their Windows 95 screensaver show. Me and the date were confused. It wasn't full at all and place was pretty dead except for a few hippies.

I doubt it. Knowing the place they might charge you to sit down.

Now I'm seeing the $35 doesn't even include crawfish I don't think.

I'm confused. Did I just pay $35 to a piece to watch just a band?

Crawfish boil & New Orleans style buffet (additional cost) Buy tickets early, as they will cost more at the door

$35 gets you in the door. $75 for crawfish boil and 2 cocktails. I'm all good.

Yep. Very poorly worded website. I would call and see about getting your money back. Good luck.

Harrah's began doing a crawfish boil in the empty lot where Manning's now sits, 7 years ago.
It used to $5.

Amusing story: It was the second year and this well dressed black woman comes to the gate with one of the black, outdoor trash bags. They charged, I believe $40, and she proceeds to empty the trays of crawfish into the bag. She filled it about half way up and left as everyone just stared.

Apparently I just got fricked. $150 for crawfish, two drinks and some band I never heard of. That's a waste. Not they have me on the hook for $70 so I'm forced to upgrade

$35? Jesus

Zatarain's is having the "worlds biggest crawfish boil" on May 10th and crawfish are $3/tray. Just wait a week and go to that.

It's not $35. That's for the door. It's $75 per person.
