There will still be some real good players in the 4th this year FWIW

He'll probably be a backup no matter what this year so I would imagine he would rather sit behind a great QB in a great city learning the position than sit behind like Matt Schaub or something

Agreed. That's why if teams go WR and CB happy in the first round, I wouldn't mind the Saints moving back a couple picks, even in to the early 2nd so they could pick up an extra mid-round pick. Given their success with drafting offensive lineman in the middle rounds, I'd rather not settle for one at #27 if the top WR, CB, and LB prospects are off the board. There will be multiple teams looking to move up and grab a Teddy Bridgewater, Derrick Carr, Jimmy Garroppolo.

I'd love to see them use an extra mid-round pick on someone like Murray. A couple years of learning behind Brees and not having to put much stress on the repaired knee any time soon could lead to him becoming a very good future QB.

He saw how much Chase Daniel got paid and said to himself "I can get paid that much on my 2nd contract doing that for a couple seasons?"

Like: Aaron Murray. if he falls that far.. STUD.
SEC career records for completions (921), passing yards (13,166), touchdown passes (121) and total offense (13,562). He's the only SEC quarterback to have four 3,000-yard passing seasons. Legit 2nd rounder pre-injury.

Funny how one positive comment about Drew or our team can change a fan bases whole mentality on a player.

Same breathe; I do think he would make a good BACK-UP QB. Much better than anything we have currently.

That's definitely a good reason not to draft him.

I love these random "guy's a douche" opinions that come out of nowhere.

If we could get him in the later rounds would be a great pick up. Sit behind Drew for a few year although I think we are very high on Ryan Griffin.

This. Would be happy if we picked him up in the 4th or later.

Exactly. What makes him a douche?
