To some extent people find redundant posts as a nuisance because there is a search feature that could prevent these types of posts from clogging up the board. However, if people would simply ignore posts on old topics, they would quickly fall off the first page.
TD has developed its own culture, and this has created a high learning curve. Unfortunately some of the smartass replies and troll jobs inhibit the growth and depth of many topics.
At the end of day it is generally best to not take most of what you read on here too seriously.

yea, most posts turn into pissing matches real quick. I guess I just expect more, esp. from the younger crowd who are supposed to have more open minds than us old farts.
