So the 2(Mett and Carr) guys with some of the highest potential in this draft to become really good NFL QBs, along with Bortles, are going 4th round?

He doesn't think they will go in the 4th round, that's what round he grades them as. I don't have a problem with how he grades them.

Yet he grades Bortles, Bridgewater, and Manziel top 20 picks? Ok... If it was grades, 2 of those 3 wouldnt be in the 1st. And Bortles would be borderline 1st /2nd round.

Really isn't that stupid. I don't see why teams would reach on any of the QBs in the draft. Especially when they could find other skill positions. Then again, everyone is looking for that Russell Wilson gem this year.

The reason why Mett and Carr will get drafted in the late 1st or early second is because they are valuable prospects. Both are capable of being long time NFL starters. They won't last on the draft board past the 2nd round.

I think Mett is the most NFL ready out of all the qbs. He is a year ahead of the others, been in an NFL system, and coached by a NFL coach for the last year. That's going to mean alot to NFL teams. If not for his knee he would've been at worst the 2nd qb taken.

Mother of god...a year ahead of every other QB in this draft. Because of one year with Coach Cam.

Is the 4th round supposed to be terrible. That's pretty good for a player the whole rant thought sucked and wouldn't get drafted this time last year.

Why put much stock in this? The draft is very fluid. It all depends on team needs vs players available.

I stopped listening to anything Hoge has to say when he called Clowney a 'very average player'. I don't know how to link it. But it's in Rotoworld under NFL draft news.
